Moor Hall required a sympathetic conversion of a Grade II 13th century listed building to a boutique hotel and restaurant. H&S Joinery worked with the main contractor on all the joinery work including:

• Stripping, refurbishing and re installing doors which had preservation orders
• Replacing windows and other bespoke doors in keeping with the original ones
• Removing antique panelling to fire proof and then re- install
• Restoring and making structural safe the 500 year old barn trusses and roof
• Repaired the oak and pitch pine timber board floor
• Manufactured a new bar and kitchen pass

Malsis Hall  required the careful conversion and refurbishment of the Grade- II listed building from a former school to create a specialist trauma care facility for individuals who have experienced brain injuries. H&S Joinery provided the joinery subcontract including:

• Restored the magnificent front door off site and returned it to the building
• Upgraded and replaced bespoke internal doors to comply with fire ratings but kept proportions and  details true to the originals
• Renovated the main staircase and increased the handrail height in accordance with current building regulations
• Manufacturing replacement windows and installing new fire doors in multiple ancillary buildings

The building showcases the original, reconditioned stained glass windows which presents the names of past Malsis school pupils who unfortunately passed whilst serving for England in the war.
